Full Track Tamarind Falls commonly known as sept cascades is an amazing track for nature lovers which is very famous for its splendid waterfalls. The Full track is very challenging and sometimes can be steep and extremely slippery especially during rainy seasons which will lead you to 7 waterfalls. If you are a beginner, then it is recommended to take half of the track (4 Waterfall). You will need to bring your Sun creme protection and Water.

THE DISCOVERY OF THE SITE
Tamarind Falls commonly known as sept cascades is an amazing track for nature lovers which is very famous for its splendid waterfalls. Situated on the central plateau, near the small village of Henrietta, the tamarind falls hiking of one of Mauritius canyons which you really should not miss.

VIEW POINTS
As the hike starts you will walk through the sugarcane fields and soon after, you’ll hear the sound of rushing water until you finally arrive at the top of the first waterfall. Take a moment to snap some photos and enjoy the view of the gorgeous valley and emerald pools below. After this point The trail becomes rocky but slightly easier. From here, you’ll get an incredible view of the waterfall plunging from a height of about 30 meters. Moving get to the next waterfall, follow the trail ahead along the rocks; you will reach the waterfall which is smaller and less deep and thus safe to swim in.

Info about the full track
The trail is very steep and extremely slippery especially if it has been raining recently. If you’re scared of heights, unfortunately, to continue this hike might be difficult for you as the Full track is quite challenging and sometimes can be steep and extremely slippery especially during rainy seasons which will lead you to 7 waterfalls.

Good morning,
We will be on vacation in Mauritius from October 20 to November 3, 2023 and we want to do the 7 waterfalls hike
We are a fresh family of 4 people who are quite sporty and used to hiking: 2 adults and 2 teenagers (16 and 14 years old). We will stay in Grand Bay and we will be transported (no transfer to be expected).
